Tim Apple and Donald America

Tech Thursday. Yeah. It’s Thursday. Let’s talk about tech. This is going to be a really short one, but I don’t care, this is a very last minute Tech Thursday. Actually, it’s not really about technology, but it involves Apple and it blew up on Twitter soooo…yeah.

So apparently President Donald Trump has called Apple CEO Tim Cook “Tim Apple”.

So of course it blew up. This is the internet we’re talking about.

The next day, Tim Cook hilariously changed his twitter handle to Tim [Insert Apple Logo] (he’s changed it back now):

Donald America was not happy about the jokes surrounding his slip-up, and now tries to defend himself, saying that he meant “We appreciate it very much, Tim/Apple”, but not many are believing him. Do you? Comment down below about your opinion!

At a recent round table meeting of business executives, & long after formally introducing Tim Cook of Apple, I quickly referred to Tim + Apple as Tim/Apple as an easy way to save time & words. The Fake News was disparagingly all over this, & it became yet another bad Trump story!
